EMLG/JMLG Annual Meeting 2018報告

　今年のAnnual Meetingは、11月4日（日）から8日（木）までの5日間、名古屋大学東山キャンパスES総合館において、第41回溶液化学シンポジウムとのJoint Conferenceとして開催された。実行委員長は、名古屋大学 岡崎　進教授が務められた。会議のテーマは、”Understanding of Molecular Liquids and Its Extension to New Fields”であった。

　4日17:00から名古屋大学副学長 松下裕秀教授と実行委員長 岡崎　進教授の挨拶に始まり、Opening Lecture 1件（50分）が行われた。5日9:00から8日12:00までInvited Lectures 11件（40分）、Contributed Talks 29件（20分）、Poster発表 133件が実施された。なお、Poster発表は奇数番号を5日17:10−18:50、偶数番号を6日10:50−12:30に行った。6日16:00−18:00にはYoung Scientist Session 8件（15分）が行われた。日本とヨーロッパから4名ずつの若手が発表した。プログラムはJMLG Chairである静岡大学 鳥居　肇教授を委員長とするプログラム委員会により計画された。セッション毎に設定されたテーマにしたがってInvited Lecture 1件、Contribution Talks 2−4件の組合せで実行され、まとまりのあるプログラム進行となった。7日夕方からバスにより徳川園に移動しBanquetが執り行われた。全発表が終了した8日12:00過ぎからEMLG General Assemblyが実施され、すべてのプログラムを終了した。

　参加者は18カ国から214名であり、開催国日本162名、ハンガリー7名、フランス6名、ドイツ6名、オーストリア5名、ポルトガル4名、チェコ、イタリア、ロシア、英国が各3名であった。日欧以外の参加は、インド2名、米国2名、オーストラリア、フィリピン、タイ各1名などであった。

　若手研究者の優秀なポスター発表4件に対し、ポスター賞として賞状と副賞（150 Eur）がBanquetにおいて贈呈された。受賞者はいずれも日本からの参加者であった。
